The Fresh Princess of MS

This is a story all about how my life got flipped turned upside down

I’d like to take a minute so just sit right there

I’ll tell you how I became diagnosed with a disease that is rare

In Sydney, Australia born and raised

At a cafe is where I spend most of my days

Gymmin’ at nights and remaining quite cool

Wasn't going to let those failed physio appointments turn me into a fool

T'was when a couple of my footsteps, they were up to no good

Started msbehaving around the neighbourhood

I had one little fall but I never got scared

Instead, took myself to the doctor to find out what was happening there

I went to the clinic, I’m small but brave

I said, I don’t know why my balance won’t behave

Going up and down stairs became harder too

I swapped heels for flats, what else could I do

Next thing you know I was in the MRI tunnel

Little did I know, this would become a regular side hustle

The results came back positive; they showed a few white spots

My brain and spinal cord had some dots

The neurologist said, “This is indicative of MS”

It was what I expected, my research showed nothing less

The "official" journey started then, that was six years ago

It's made a stronger version of me, little did I know

I’ve come so far and I continue to grow
